Rebuilding a Seeburg SHP1 amplifier? Then you’ll absolutely need to replace the troublesome wire wound bias potentiometers that control the output transistor biasing. One telltale sign of a biasing issue is hot heatsinks when the amplifier is idle. Our bias trimmer boards include genuine Bourns trimmer pots, two Phoenix wire terminals for easy connection to the existing wires, and all mounting hardware. Simply move the wires from the old pots to the new terminals, mount the PCB to the chassis, and adjust the bias to 4-8mv per Seeburg specs.
