Description Aquacel ribbon hydrofiber dressing with strengthening fibre is a sterile, non-woven wound dressing made from sodium carboxymethylcellulose and reinforced with regenerated cellulose fibre for added strength. Designed to manage cavity wounds and tunnels, it conforms to wound contours and absorbs fluid to form a cohesive gel. This gel maintains a moist wound environment, promoting the body’s natural healing while gently assisting in the removal of nonviable tissue (autolytic debridement) without harming newly formed tissue. The dressing is soft, highly absorbent, and ideal for moderate to heavily exuding wounds where gentle packing is needed.
