They travelled with Lois Pearl, the wife of Ed Hillary’s Deputy Expediton Leader, Dr. Max Pearl, and their 3 daughters. They also visited Everest Base Camp. Louise Hillary deals with travel issues, the high altitude, the beauty of the mountains, the hospitality of the Sherpas, and spending Christmas in Nepal, as well as a return journey via India, Thailand and Malaysia.
