Devastation in Mountain Measure: Bringing Victory from Sorrow-A Story of God’s Faithfulness

After a three-day medical clinic in Guatemala, organized by Living Water Teaching in 1998, resulted in seven thousand people receiving medical care and fifteen hundred giving their lives to Christ, Living Water Teaching founders Jim and Marion Zirkle were inspired by the clinic’s success. Then tragedy struck. On the fourth and final flight out, the plane crashed in the mountains of Guatemala, taking the lives of Marion’s husband, son, and son-in-law. Unimaginable grief and dark days followed, but God’s grace enabled Marion to put one foot in front of the other. Devastation in Mountain Measure chronicles Marion’s redemptive story—from her calling to be a missionary, through the founding of Living Water Teaching, to her reliance on God to continue her calling after the loss of her partner in love, life, and ministry.
