Product Details Mounted on a 2.35mm shank and used in conjunction with the pendant motor, micromotor or hobby drill. The parallel Split Mandrel is used with Emery Paper, Wet & Dry etc. The end of a strip of appropriate grade paper is threaded into the slit. The remainder of the strip is wound around the mandrel. When winding, note should be taken in which direction the mandrel will turn. If wound correctly the motion of turn against the object will keep the paper tight on the mandrel. Once the ‘outside’ turn of paper is worn, this can be removed to reveal ‘fresh’ paper.
